KOFTA

You can serve it either warm or cold. We love to prepare it for summer, serving it with a yogurt dip. Kofta are great for barbecues or for any other festivities with friends.

TOTAL TIME: 30 mins

serves: 4

INGREDIENTS

METHOD

1. Using a food processor, crush the white bread together with the fresh mint and thyme.

2. In a large bowl, mix (with your hands) the meat with the oil, herbs, and bread. Season with salt and pepper.

3. Form Kofta (just like on the photo).

4. If you do a barbecue just grill the Kofta (for about 4 mins on each side). Otherwise, use a grill pan and just use a sprinkle of oil and grill the Kofta for about 4 mins on each side.

Kofta taste best with Egyptian Tahina or Greek yogurt sauce!!
